about 4 out 10 times, as soon as i connect to a server on et the sound loops and the app locks up. then the whole 'et did this and that and is all around fuxored up' blah blah ..

anyone else have a stability issue even after the latest patch? just wondering ... c-ya

Yeah I have that same problem especially if there are more than 32 players in the game. I try and get into games with less that 32 players.

Wow, haven't monitored this board in a while. My guess is that et is trying to allocate a sound channel for each player rather than just allocating sound channels for things that are close to you. See if you can't reduce the # of channels option or sound quality settings and if that helps. Good luck!
